Time-out with a view at the Mesmerhaus in Bildstein
The Mesmerhaus belongs to the historical ensemble of houses around the Baroque pilgrimage church in the village of Bildstein. The owner, Evi Haller, has awakened the 200-year-old Sleeping Beauty of her great-grandfather and together with her husband, the architect Jürgen Haller, has extensively renovated it.
From the outside, the listed house has remained nearly unchanged. However, the historical flair is left behind when entering the house, because the three apartments offer a modern living with a reduced, straight-line design. The penthouse “Ludovika” with a size of 180 sqm offers plenty of space and comfort as well as a fantastic view of Lake Constance. The 50 sqm apartment named “Franz-Josef” is located on the first floor in a south-west position with a panoramic view from the mountains over the village Bildstein to Lake Constance. The smallest of the three apartments lovingly named “Maria” offers a total of 30 sqm practically arranged and is a cosy nest overlooking the baroque church.
