Islamic cemetery

Architect Bernardo Bader

One of only two Islamic cemeteries in the whole of Austria. The finger-shaped burial fields are protected by a red-coloured concrete wall, and a prayer room, a mourning room and a place for ritual washing are located within the walls. Award: Aga Khan Award for Architecture 2013
