Coffee-house culture with tradition – located in Bregenz’s Kaiserstraße, this small confectionery has been famous beyond the city limits for its home-made range of cakes since 1887. The family business, now in its fourth generation, is the proud guardian of well-preserved recipes on which the business has been building its reputation for decades. The raw materials for its in-house production are sourced exclusively from the region. Conditorei Götze was also awarded the Gault Millau ‘Golden Coffee Bean’ for its efforts. The fine selection of such home-made specialities as the famous range of cakes, the café’s own Grillage torte (with brittle paste) and a selection of Danish pastries as well as the pralines and truffles are always tempting. The classically elegant ambience in the original preserved cherry-wood panelling is reminiscent of those classic ‘Viennese coffee houses’. The seating that is set up in the pedestrian zone in summer extends the available space from the inside to the outside.
