On this tour, which starts in Bregenz, you circle the local mountain of Bregenz, the Pfänder, on paths that are consistently easy to drive on. With the help of the cable car you can overcome the majority of the altitude difference. The panoramic view on the Pfänder across 3 countries is unique. Here you get a view of most of the Lake of Constance cycle path. Ideal for an afternoon excursion.
The tour starts with the cable car. When you get to the top of the Pfänder you cycle via Moos to Jungholz on a paved road. It continues until just before the Schlüssellehen. Slightly downhill to the bus stop Eichenberg where you turn right to Eichenberg Lutzenreute. Via Mühlenloch past the Ramsacher Weiher to Möggers-Weienried. There, a short detour across the state border to the mystical Hasenreuter waterfall is worthwhile. Back to Möggers-Weienried, you now drive to Hohenweiler. From here you roll comfortably downhill through the Leiblachtal via Ried to Diezings, where you cross the Leiblach. Continue to Hangnach and Oberhochsteg. There you cross the Leiblach again, drive to Hörbranz and reach the Lake of Constance cycle path via Lochau. This takes you back to Bregenz.
